At least early on, Washington’s passing attack is having a ton of success in one-on-one battles outside the hash marks against Washington State.

Huskies wide receiver Dante Pettis was the most highlight-worthy example. Already up 14-3, Pettis added another touchdown for Washington by out-jumping a Washington State defender for this touchdown catch.

When Washington’s playing pitch-and-catch, it’s a tough offense to stop. Quarterback Jake Browning’s ball placement is superb and he has guys like Pettis and John Ross who can go get the ball.
