The Mariners completed a three-game sweep of the White Sox (SEA 7, CWS 6) on Sunday thanks to Nelson Cruz‘s 10th inning go-ahead home run. It was Cruz’s fifth home run in his last eight games.

Here’s video of the go-ahead blast:

Earlier in the game, Cruz took a pitch to the hip from White Sox lefty Derek Holland. It was completely unintentional. Holland tried to bust Cruz inside to keep him from extending his arms, and the pitch was a little too far inside.

Cruz, after getting plunked, faked charging the mound and going after Holland. Twice, in fact. Once right after getting hit and again as he walked toward first base. Here’s the video and here’s a GIF:

Cruz and Holland do have some history, though not the bad kind. The two were teammates with the Rangers from 2009-13. They played in back-to-back World Series together in 2010 and 2011.
