Francois Louw and Charlie Ewels return for Bath as they seek to avenge last weekend’s last-gasp Champions Cup defeat away to Toulon.

Louw returns at open-side, with Paul Grant switching back to number eight.

Ewels comes into the second row alongside Elliott Stooke, with captain Matt Garvey at blind-side.

Toulon make three changes, including ex-England winger Chris Ashton moving from full-back to wing, with Hugo Bonneval coming in at full-back.

South African prop Marcel Van der Merwe also returns in the place of Levan Chilachava for the three-time European champions, with Argentina’s Facundo Isa replacing Raphael Lakafia.

For Bath, Grant fills in at number eight for Taulupe Faletau, who suffered a knee injury last weekend and is set to be out until March.

Bath suffered an agonising 24-20 defeat at Stade Felix Mayol last weekend, but could move to the top of Pool 5 with a win.
