Wakefield Trinity scored 18 unanswered second-half points to earn a deserved win and end Hull FC’s three-game winning streak in Super League.

Ryan Hampshire and Bill Tupou’s tries had given Trinity a 14-0 lead but Danny Houghton and Bureta Faraimo hit back for the hosts shortly before the break.

However, Tupou dived over in the corner for his second, before Pauli Pauli and Reece Lyne’s scores made the win safe.

Victory saw Wakefield move one place above Hull in to fifth in the table.
